What is the material of Flow Through Packer?+–

The Flow Through Packer is made of SBR+NR mixed rubber, nylon cord, Kevlar cord and strong fabrics. The Bypass Connection is a flexible reinforced plastic hose.
What is Flow Through Packer?+–

Flow Through Packer is a trenchless solution used to repair a pipeline by carrying chemical patches and allows the flow to pass through its bypass line. It’s suitable for small pipe sizes starting from 150mm up to 1200mm with a length up to 5 meters.
How do we use Flow Through Packer?+–

The Flow Through Packer is carrying chemical patches and ensure the installation of the patch on the cracked point by inflating the packer and waiting the required cure time. It has also a bypass line letting the flow to pass. You can check more details concerning the application by watching our video
How can we choose the suitable model of the Flow Through Packer?+–

We are choosing the suitable FTP Model based on 2 main criteria which are the pipe diameter and the required patch length.
Can we use one PTP Model for many pipe sizes?+–

FTP Model is multi-size packer which means that you can use one FTP Model for many pipe sizes. For example, you can use FTP40060020 for all pipe diameters between 400mm up to 600mm. You can check in the above table the Usage Size Range of each Flow Through Packer model.
Is PlugCo offering any training of how to use Flow Through Packers?+–

PlugCo is providing trainings to its clients of how to use the Flow Through Packers correctly, and in the end of training, PlugCo is giving certificates to the concerned ones. In addition, PlugCo is assisting its clients by providing on-site supervision. You can check an example of a training we gave before.
What are the storage conditions of the Flow Through Packers?+–

The pipe Plugs should be stored in a dark & dry place, away from direct sunlight, and the temperature must be between +5°C and +25°C. In addition, before and after each use of the Plug, be sure to clean the external surface of the plug. However, NEVER Clean the plug with solvents, hydrocarbons or other aggressive agents.
