DORA 2 Station Project:
In 2025, we supplied our pipe plugs to the DORA 2 Station Project, located southwest of Baghdad, where sewage pipelines needed to be shut off for urgent repairs. With guidance from PlugCo engineers, the appropriate plugs were selected and installed quickly; allowing the repair team to work safely. This was a large-scale project including many pipelines of different sizes, ranging from 150 mm up to 2.8 meters in diameter. The applicable back pressure was 4.5 meters-0.45 bar. Erbil Water and Sewage Project:
In 2024, PlugCo supplied high-quality pipe plugs for the Erbil Water and Sewage Project in Iraq. The project required water leak tests using two types of our pipe plugs: the PP (inflatable balloons) and the PTP model (test pipe plug with bypass), for 500 mm and 1000 mm pipelines. The leak test back pressure was 0.5 bar. PlugCo provided the air discharge adaptor for the discharge of entrapped air, which was preventing stable test pressure during the test. The project was fully supervised remotely by our expert team and completed successfully, with long pipelines tested efficiently and safely. This demonstrates PlugCo’s expertise in providing reliable pipe plug solutions for water and sewage projects across Iraq.
